Comment: "Do you remember Elia Kazan's film "America America", and Stavros, his young hero?

There have been many like Stavros in many parts of the world, dreaming of new worlds.

Some, like Stavros, fled oppression, some fled wars, some fled tyranny, some fled poverty and hunger.

They fled from China, Russia, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Spain, France…and after exhausting journeys, arrived in England, America, Canada…. where they established themselves and lived their lives.

Most of the time, unlike Stavros, their families remained in their countries of origin. To trace their next-of-kin, I travel back through their past lives, reliving the adventures they lived long ago. Isn't that a good reason to like my job?"
