Robert BarrattName: Robert Barratt

Position: Senior Researcher

Language(s): English

Joined Fraser & Fraser: 8th March 2004

Background: Bob was a police officer from 1973 to 2004. His role in the police varied greatly during this time, ranging from armed duties to managing a prosecutions’ office. The last few years were spent as a uniformed inspector leading a team of officers responsible for response policing and custody. He joined Fraser and Fraser in 2004 directly after leaving the police.

Comment: " I thoroughly enjoyed being a police officer and now look forward to a new career with Fraser and Fraser. Although most of the work is quite different there is one thing that Fraser and Fraser and the police have in common and that is team-work. There is a great deal of hard work, knowledge and experience applied to trace an heir but above all results are obtained by the staff working together. It is very satisfying to be part of this joint effort. Although the news we bring to people is sad, in that we have to inform them that a relative has died, I am pleased that we also have the opportunity to change their lives positively by informing them of an inheritance of which they would otherwise have no knowledge."
